Once Upon a Princess Castle

So, I made this castle off the new Once Upon a Princess cart for my cricut.  I had some challenges along the way.  The largest you can make it with 12 X 12 paper is 8" which is why it's so small (I took the pic with my kids so you can see it's size relatively).  I have to go out and buy some 12 X 24 so I can make a bigger one.  Also, I will use obviously double sided paper next time because I folded a lot of things wrong and messed it up a bit but this would be a really cute centerpiece for a birthday party.

DCWV Green Stack

I adore this paper.  I found some great layouts using this stack on Two Peas (http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/181266-sharislp/1516936-dcwv-green-stack/).  In the summer, Glen was laid off for a few months - so he made the girls this "car wash".  Cost - less than $30.  Pay Off - a whole summer of fun.  The girls played with this all summer and never got bored with it.

Autumn - Fall 09

I made this page based on a project on the cricut website.  I am trying to learn how to use my cricut E more.  I used the markers that came with it for the first time on this page and I love the look.

Some Autumn pages

I went to April's on Sunday for a scrapbooking day. I focused on Autumn for the day, these are the pages I came up with.  As you can probably tell, I do not scrapbook in order.  I am far too high strung to scrapbook in order.  When I started scrapbooking, I was stressing about which pictures go where in the album and should I do more than one and what about if I am given more that will go earlier.... I couldn't stop obsessing about it and all I ever did was "organize" photos.  So I made the decision to stop trying to scrapbook chronologically and I've never looked back.  I use the drop down albums so it doesn't matter what order I scrap in, I can just move the pages around as needed.

Another layout. These are photos we had done at Picture People. I love that place, they are expensive but with coupons I usually get a pretty good deal. This is my daughter Autumn, age 6.

Here is a layout I made today using a sketch from gotsketch.blogspot.com. I used Totally Girl paper from My Mind's Eye.
